Trade experts believe that she is a safe bet at the ticket windows. “She can be counted in the hero’s league,” says trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
Another trade expert Amod Mehra is more wary in his assessment, "Deepika has come a long way from the days of her plain Jane avatar in her debut film Om Shanti Om. Today, she is a sex goddess. She has worked her way up. She should continue to work with big stars in woman-oriented films.”
An insider adds, "Deepika Padukone in all her films is a delight to look at and her performance has more nuances. It would be extremely difficult to figure which film to nominate her for".
